2026 marks the third year since the Property Committee was established to oversee strengthening works. We now also have a Design Working Group that collaborates closely with the Property Committee on these plans and is accountable to the parish’s Finance Committee. We have reached an important stage in the life of our parish, as significant developments are underway. Design plans are being prepared to guide our progress in strengthening works, as well as improvements to hospitality spaces, the parish office, and the priest’s presbytery, all aimed at addressing the current needs of our community.
As previously shared, we’re preparing to renew and redevelop our three church campuses — Ss Peter and Paul, St Michael’s, and St Bernadette’s. Major expansion and upgrade works at Ss Peter and Paul are planned to begin after Easter 2027, with minor works at the other two churches during 2026 as resources allow.
With Archbishop Paul’s blessing, we’re establishing a Parish Property Development Fund — tax-deductible and dedicated entirely to these projects. Unlike our regular collections, where 50% supports archdiocesan ministries, every dollar given to this fund stays 100% in the Parish, used solely for property development.
Work will progress in stages. As plans develop, we’ll share details and create opportunities for you to have your say on these exciting changes.
If you are making a contribution via online banking, please include PPDF in the Particulars field along with your planned gifting/giving number in the reference field so it is allocated to the correct purpose and donor. Printed PPDF envelopes will be available in all church foyers soon.
Feel free to get in touch with the Parish office if you have any questions on Monday’s.
We need your help in two ways.
First, your financial support. These are significant investments in our future, and we need everyone to play their part. Second, we’re forming a fundraising committee and want the right people around the table — skills in fundraising, finance, project management, or community engagement are all valuable. Know someone who fits? Put their name forward.
This is our parish. These church buildings and campuses serve our community, our children, and the generations to come. Let’s build something that lasts.
To get involved or contribute, please speak with a member of the parish team.
